Second Chance Romance gira em torno da ex-bailarina Tan Siting (Qin Lan), que volta para sua cidade natal após se aposentar com a esperança de reatar seu relacionamento com Feng Rui (Wallace Chung). Entretanto, a reunião dos dois é complicada, já que agora ele também é um pai solteiro.
Em meio a sentimentos mal resolvidos entre os dois, Tan Siting e Feng Rui vão enfrentar um turbilhão de situações envolvendo amor, desilusão e fé em um destino melhor.
