Em Wild Ambition Bloom, acompanhamos a história de Chu Shaohua, uma jovem vinda de uma família tradicional no ramo de medicina chinesa. Durante sua vida, ela conhece três homens que acabam influenciando sua trajetória, Xia Chu, Chen Dashun e Wen Zhiqiu.
Apesar das restrições da época, Chu Shaohua consegue se estabelecer como uma empreendedora confiável e respeitada, possibilitando que ela foque no que realmente importa, o crescimento de seu país.
